Blood Orange

Citrus variety with high numbers of vitamine C and anthocyanins which give the fruit its typical deep red color.

Juniper berries

Juniper berries from the base of Jenever, a medical liquor historically made by monks and alchemists, and later on Gin. These piny berries are packed with essential nutrients and plant compounds.

Lemon zest

Tart, mouthwatering bitterness with a serious citrus punch, these dried lemon peels contain a complex array of vitamins and minerals.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg is a popular gin spice made from the seeds of Myristica fragrans, a tropical aromatic tree native to Indonesia. The crushed seeds possess anti-inflammatory properties and may even boost your focus.

Angelica

The bitter roots of many species of Angelica are used to make herbal medicines, but also gin. Traditionally it was used in Europe for digestive problems and anxiety.

It's their personal homage to the beauty of the natural world and the limitless creativity of the mind to capture the subtle details of life.

About the artist

Graphic designer and teacher by day, visual craftsman by night. Whereas by day he translates complex stories for large clients into simple design systems, at night he seeks for the right complex textures for his simple illustrations. Born in Flemish clay soil, Henk has spent his life searching for that one perfect shape that contains a great story.

Say it’s alright Joe

The scene shows a world where a woman embraces jellyfish Joe on the back of a whale that turns out to be a giant hand providing great canned drinks to the world. It’s an ode to nature. A cradle-to-cradle symbiosis between all living creatures in order to preserve our very existence. It’s a message of positivity, a message of ‘everything will be alright, Joe’.

Add 1 dash of orange bitters (optional)
Fill gently with Yugen Blood orange Juniper
Gently stir until mixed
